Children's and Youth Choirs
The Sierra Nevada Children's Choir is proud to be Northern Nevada's premier youth choir program, emphasizing music literacy and high-quality performances of a variety of music. Our choirs perform in two culminating concerts in the winter and spring. In addition, select groups of singers from our choirs will participate in "field trips" to local schools to perform for their peers. We currently host two choirs: Dolce and Bel Canto. Each choir meets once per week at St. John's Presbyterian Church:

Dolce
Dolce provides entry-level training for children in third through fifth grade, introducing them to music literacy in a choral setting and preparing them to participate in more advanced ensembles. This choir performs for our winter and spring concerts.

Bel Canto
Bel Canto is our advanced choir for children in fourth through eighth grade. Members of this choir participate in a retreat in the fall and a tour in the spring. They participate in our winter and spring concerts and have opportunities for additional performances throughout the school year.
